Excellence Programs Reunidas Paulista

At Reunidas, we value our drivers, customers and the environment. Learn about our programs that make a difference in road transport.

PEC - Fuel Saving Plan

The Fuel Economy Program (PEC), in addition to contributing to increased safety in passenger transport journeys, also helps the environment and the preservation of its natural reserves. One of the program's objectives is to raise awareness among drivers so that they develop skills through training in economical and safe driving and by valuing the results obtained in economical driving, further increasing safety in journeys.

By implementing the program, drivers aim to increase performance by consuming less fuel per kilometer traveled. This benefits safety and the environment, since the level of pollutants in the air is reduced proportionally to the reduction in fuel consumption.

PEACE - Zero Accident Program

The Zero Accident Program (PAZ) was implemented at Reunidas Paulista in 1997, with the goal of offering drivers Resources, Education and Appreciation as fundamental elements for reducing the number of accidents and, consequently, increasing the safety of their trips. In addition, it includes actions that seek to raise awareness among drivers about the cause, always prioritizing safety, comfort and punctuality as the main objective. This award is annual and divided by time categories.

A timeline that currently has at its top drivers who have not committed any traffic violations in the last 13 years. It is the company's role to closely monitor the performance of drivers, and it does so by ensuring that high performance is encouraged. This monitoring is carried out by the Human Resources (HR) department in conjunction with the operations. The awards include a certificate, a badge and cash prizes, as well as an event with senior management and family members to present the awards.

Great Ricieri

The Gran Ricieri Award honors employees who have worked for Reunidas Paulista for more than 15 years. It was named as a way for the company to recognize its employees and immortalize Mr. Ricieri, who worked for the company for more than 70 years. His employment records show that he was registered with the company in 1951, but they also include the time he worked for companies that preceded and formed Reunidas Paulista.

The total amount of time he spent in the same economic group was 72 years. During this long period of great dedication, he drove the company's buses for decades, until it was time to park the vehicle. He then went on to work, and it must be said, for many years in the customer service area. Mr. Ricieri was the “ombudsman” of Reunidas, considered a kind of regional legend. Today he is remembered as the friendly gentleman who, at the age of 92, spread good humor, bringing joy to everyone around him.

Personal jargon was a hallmark of his life, for example, when someone asked him how he felt, he would reply: “Always Tinindo!”. Naming the award after him was the company's way of maintaining its values and joy for many generations of employees, who, like him, deserve to be honored.

PIM - Driver Incentive Plan

On October 1, 2012, the Driver Incentive Program (PIM) was implemented. Is it performance we seek? It is incentives we offer. The PIM is one of the actions to enhance the value of the Zero Accident Program, created to encourage drivers to drive in accordance with Reunidas' core values: safety and passion for service. It is a quarterly program that encourages drivers to achieve the goals presented at the beginning of the award, and reissued over the years.

The award is equivalent to ¼ of the driver's salary and can be received four times a year. This way, drivers can be awarded every 3 months and have a chance to earn their 14th salary. Among the objectives for each PIM achievement, the driver must follow the schedule, not receive any fines for fault, not be warned, and not have been involved in any accidents during the period.
